Just Found This - For You Pete!
A koala nicknamed Bob puts his paw around fellow fire survivor Sam at the Southern Ash Wildlife Shelter in Rawson, Australia, on Wednesday.
SYDNEY - A love story between two burned koalas rescued from Australia's deadliest bushfires has provided some heart-warming relief after days of devastation and the loss of more than 180 lives.

The story of Sam and her new boyfriend Bob emerged after volunteer firefighter David Tree used a mobile phone to photograph and film the rescue of the bewildered female found cowering in a burned-out forest at Mirboo North, 90 miles southeast of Melbourne.

Our Dear Friends Down Under
I just wanted to post to those I know in Australia - It is truly heartbreaking to see how devastated your lands are. So many natural wonders destroyed, so many people have lost everything in their lives, and I offer true condolences to those that have lost family and friends in the devastation. There are some amazing survival stories revealing themselves everyday, from people hiding in wombat caves and swimming pools to your citizens really stepping up to help their fellow countrymen. It is truly uplifting to here that come from such destruction. It will take a long time to recover what you all have lost and some may never regain what was destroyed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this horrible time.

The Octuplets Birth Maybe Not So Joyous!
Ok, so I decided to edit this post - well actually completely start it over because it has become clear that it is just a waste of time to acknowledge this particular news story. These babies will endure a very hard life and for that I am truly sad. I pray for the health and the health of all her other children.
I will just say though, that as a mom of a special baby, it's very disheartening to see this woman be allowed to continue her charade. She has a child already that is autistic and two others with varying degrees of disabilities. I truly hope for their sake that they get the necessary care and attention they will need in their lives.
Enough said.
